Frequently ask questions

How do I apply to become a volunteer? What can I do to help as a volunteer?

The first step to apply, is to identify a positon that interest you on our online volunteer opportunity directory. After identifying a position you will need to contact the supervisor whose name is given in the description of the position that interest you. The position supervisor will then contact you with the next steps in the application process.

What skills do I need to be a volunteer?

The required skills very by position, please refer to the opportunity directory for requirements.

Do you have any paper application I can’t use the computer or I don’t have computer access?

No we do not have paper applications, all applications are electronic, and are email upon request of the department supervisor for the position that you are interested in. If you do not have computer access, you can go to a local library, community center, you can use a smart phone, or you may try our wellness center on the 2nd floor of the main hospital if they have any availability.

Are you lost and found?

Yes we are lost and found for lost items that are not consider valuables. Valuables are consider to be keys, jewelry, Medical and government issued Identification cards , credit cards, cash, electronics and medical equipment. All Valuable items are turn in to our cashier office located on the 1st floor of the main hospital in the main lobby.

Can I drop off a clothing donations or book donations?

All clothing and book donations are collected by vocational rehabilitation services they are located on the 7th floor of the main hospital rm # 7F40.

What Days and office hours are you available?

We are open for business on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9:30Am til 5:00pm we are closed for lunch from 12:00 noon til 1Pm.
